As part of our continuing work to support non-profit organizations, Quietly Working assisted in the business development and planning phase of the Azusa Street Centennial Celebration.  The Azusa Street Centennial Celebration was a large gathering of Pentacostals held in Los Angeles that marked the 100^th anniversary of the Azusa Street Revival, first held on April 14, 1906, then annually for 15 years thereafter.  Many Pentacostal groups can trace their roots back to the Azusa Street Revival.  Quietly Working provided in-depth market and demographic analysis for the Azusa Street Centennial at a discounted rate.  The Centennial’s organizers were provided with a clear and concise business development and marketing plan to ensure that their event was a success.  Attendance at events throughout the weekend was over 200,000.

Ballet Pacifica, now part of the Festival Ballet Theater and Southland Ballet Academy, was the premiere Orange County ballet academy and ballet production company for three decades.  Since its very beginning, Ballet Pacifica was known throughout the country for its annual Nutcracker production at the Irvine Barclay Theater, held each December.  As part of Ballet Pacifica’s build-up to its 30-Year Anniversary, Quietly Working was called upon to conduct a complete demographic and market analysis and provide a clear and concise business development plan, working within the confines of a set annual budget.  Quietly Working worked closely with the Ballet Pacifica staff and leadership to build a business development plan that touched each area of the organization, from generating revenue through increased attendance at the Ballet Pacifica Dance Academy, to increasing attendance at the Ballet Pacifica productions, including the annual Nutcracker production.  In addition to providing high-level business development planning, Quietly Working also provided all of the collateral materials for the 2006 Nutcracker Marketing Campaign, garnering record attendance at the event.

Back when web cams were just getting off the ground and coming into wider use, ICT/ClearPhone already had close to a decade of experience in video conferencing over the web, using a proprietary technology that allowed web cam users to interface over the internet in real time, without the typical audio and video delay of products on the market at the time.  Originally pioneered for the education industry, ICT/ClearPhone turned its focus to marketing the product to the general public through an infomercial and direct retail sales.  Quietly Working was called upon to provide its advertising and marketing expertise to ICT/ClearPhone.  Quietly Working was honored to assist in the oversight of the production of ICT/ClearPhone’s 30-minute infomercial, as well as the purchasing of television air time through Quietly Working’s media partner, Ocean Media, Inc.  In addition, Quietly Working was called upon to re-design ICT/ClearPhone’s image, including the creation of new collateral materials and product packaging that showcased a 3D-modeled product mascot.

Now a division of Paperlinx, one of the largest paper companies in the world, Kelly Paper has a long Southern California history, dating back to its first store in downtown Los Angeles in 1952.  Today, serving 4 states with 48 stores and headquartered in City of Industry, CA, Kelly Paper is one of the premier paper and paper product suppliers in the country, selling to both the end consumer through its stores and direct to print houses from its large distribution center.  As part of its continuing efforts to provide ground-breaking products to the print industry, Paperlinx, and in turn, Kelly Paper, obtained the exclusive rights to market a product called EZ-Turner.  At a print shop, when a job requires double-sided printing, large reams, sometimes feet thick, of paper need to be turned and re-fed through the press to print the back side.  EZ-Turner is a remarkable product that can clutch on to an entire paper pallet and then as its name suggests, easily turn the paper stack upside down so that the back side of the paper can be printed.  Quietly Working was called upon to provide Kelly Paper with a Product Demonstration and Instructional DVD that could be sent to prospective EZ-Turner customers to showcase the product and how it could increase paper-turning efficiency by over thirty times.  Quietly Working scripted, filmed, and then edited and authored a best in class DVD presentation.  Quietly Working also brokered DVD replication.  Quietly Working delivered the product ahead of schedule and under budget.

A direct subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation of Japan, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America, Inc., designs and builds the latest in television technology for the discerning, high-end consumer.  From its cutting-edge design facility in Irvine and manufacturing plant in Mexicali, MDEA truly leads the market in television technology.  Quietly Working was called upon to re-design the MDEA television owner’s guides.  Working closely with engineers on-site, Quietly Working took engineering documents and related information provided by the Mitsubishi engineers and crafted an eye-pleasing operating manual that provided just the right mix of form and function.  Quietly Working’s operating manual and accompanying owner’s documentation won two Society for Technical Communication Awards for Technical Writing and was made the international operating manual standard by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation of Japan.  In addition to providing the MDEA operating guides, Quietly Working also worked closely with MDEA engineers during MDEA’s ISO 9000 Certification, providing ISO procedural documentation and quality manuals.  During our work with MDEA, Quietly Working uncovered and re-popularized the MDEA slogan, “Technically, Anything Is Possible.”

Security Pacific Financial is a California Mortgage Lender specializing in new purchase financing, mortgage refinancing, Home Equity Line of Credit, debt consolidation, 2nd Mortgage and new construction financing.  Security Pacific Financial is a financial services and loan company that is both a mortgage broker and a direct lender that funds commercial loans and residential loans nationwide.  As the mortgage industry is tightening its reigns on spending and seeking creative new ways to create revenue, Security Pacific has remained a formidable force in the market place.  Quietly Working was called upon by Security Pacific’s founder, Doyle Glass, to assist in the high-level business development planning and marketing plan implementation for the growth of the company’s reverse mortgage business.  Quietly Working worked closely with Security Pacific Financial in creating a high-impact reverse mortgage marketing campaign.  Ultimately, the campaign focused on a very concise list of prospective clients, sending them a FedEx box with a high-impact, beautifully designed information piece, prompting the prospective customers to call Security Pacific for more information.  Quietly Working delivered the project on time and under budget.  The campaign resulted in a 7% call rate, well above the 1% of a typical mailer and the 2% break-even rate required in order to make the campaign profitable.

Imagine the competition that you are facing when you develop a brand new laundry detergent.  Now imagine that your new laundry detergent, is in fact, not a laundry detergent at all, but a brand new way to wash clothes using ground-breaking enzyme technology and re-usable plastic enzyme releasers.  This was the problem facing Tsunami Wave and its detergent-less hypo-allergenic laundry system.  Faced with insurmountable odds, Tsunami Wave called upon Quietly Working to assist them in branding and designing the packaging for this brand new product that was about to launch into stores throughout Southern California.  Quietly Working worked closely with Tsunami Wave to create a brand that fit the product’s environmental and hypo-allergenic benefits and created a fantastic new package design that was eye-catching and unmistakably let the consumer know what this new type of product was all about.

Webster University was founded in 1915 on the principle of providing a higher education to those who might not possess the opportunity to obtain one.  Today, Webster operates as a private, nonprofit, accredited university offering undergraduate and graduate education.  Based in Webster Groves, Missouri, a picturesque suburb of St. Louis, Webster University now includes over 100 campuses throughout the world.  Quietly Working was called upon by Webster University’s Irvine Campus to conduct an in-depth demographic survey which included student interviews and focus groups in order to give the university's administration a better idea of the types of students who were attending their university, and in turn, provide insight in how to market to potential students to increase enrollment.  After conducting the survey and reporting its findings to Webster University Irvine’s key administration leaders, Quietly Working was called upon to create Webster University’s print ads to appear in magazines and newspapers throughout Southern California.  Quietly Working’s unique designs resulted in the increased enrollment that Webster University Irvine was looking for.

Founded in 1998, Wieland Associates, Inc. is an acoustical consulting firm providing high-quality services for value-oriented fees, to solve existing and potential problems with noise and vibration control.  Wieland Associates provides noise and vibration assessment and control studies, testing and design services for all types of residential, commercial, industrial and municipal projects such as freeway sound walls, street widening and water treatment facilities.  Quietly Working was called upon to take existing Wieland artwork that had been created by different sources throughout the years and create newspaper ads to promote Wieland’s services.  Quietly Working’s newspaper ads resulted in a clean and professional image, leading to increased exposure for Wieland Associates.
